alright so throughout the last couple weeks, i have been working out a deal with tiago for a turbo kit. The only thing that is still undecided is turbo size. I want alot of power from it. my car will be drag raced but it also has to be streetable. I have full exhaust, intake, and 3.73s/LSD. I will also be adding Abbott P&P'd heads/intake and a turbo cam and new valvetrain. What size of turbo would you reccomend. I dont want tons of lag but i also want plenty of mid range and top end power for drag racing
actually I have my 62-1 im selling......has like 1500 miles on it....its a polished compressor Turbonetics 62-1 with a .69 a/r so ull have a fast spool and make more then enough power. On this turbo I was makin about 550rwhp.

That's awesome Shane. You know I always wonder. WHat's the limit of boost can a stock Supra engine can take?
I've heard of Supra making 700 rwhp on stock engine.
the stock bottom end was so over built on the FI 2JZ motors. So much so that i dont think an aftermarket one would offer much more strength at all. Back to the topic. I agree with shane a small T4 is a great choice.

Im not just tryin to sell u my turbo but I think the 62-1 i have would be perfect, its 1mm bigger then a T61....it was too small for my HP i was making.....i dont think ur going to go over 600hp so this turbo will be more then enuff.....it has a small exhaust side for very fast spool.
Ill sell you it for 600 shipped.
