Thanks Shirl.
I love my powerdyne and it has given me good service. Since I am a beta tester I will be replacing it with a new ATI blower. I'll make sure to take plenty of pics during the intstall. I know the new Procharger will look sweet under the hood too.Michael Huff
92 RS, 98 V6, 97 SS, 00 Z28
http://www.carolinafbodyclub.com/

Have any of you guys had trouble with the powerdyne damaging your engine? I just wonder how much the increased boost accelerates engine wear.
Also, im working on the design for a system that would allow you to engage and disengage the powerdyne charger at will, a la Mad Max. A way to give you the boost when you want it, but not be running at higher pressures to conserve engine life. Any good quality pictures of the powerdyne install would be helpful. I was abusing mine with a 100 shot before the blower went on and it's still running very well. The 3.8's can take a lot of abuse. Most important thing is to monitor your fuel/timing and don't give it a reason to explode.Michael Huff
92 RS, 98 V6, 97 SS, 00 Z28
http://www.carolinafbodyclub.com/

when i put enough green together to buy one, all im going to be running on it will really be the charger. the powerdyne guys say that if you put the charger on as a bolt on, you dont have to change anything else. Is that correct?Property of Dave Hamburger

I wouldn't run the powerdyne without headers, and a 3" catback. If you can get away with no cat that would best for exhaust flow. You can always do a flanged pipe setup and slap the cat in for inspections.
Just make sure you install the fuel pump and TRC unit that comes with it. Internal motor wise you don't NEED to change anything.
Oh, and if you block off the PCV inlet in the TB invest in a valve cover breather.Michael Huff
92 RS, 98 V6, 97 SS, 00 Z28
http://www.carolinafbodyclub.com/
