    did i tap the wrong wire? help please

    umm hooked up my O2 guage and im getting 2.55 voltes

    i have a 1997, all wires are solid color from what i can see,

    im color blind but i taped the white, there a blue/ or purple and 2 that look the same (must be red green ) lol

    any help ????

      ... I dunno.. I have never hooked up a regular o2 guage.. i think caspers sells pigtails that split off a signal wire for a cleaner install..

      did you follow the directions?? 2.55 volts is the wrong wire for sure.. that sounds like the power wire or the heater wire.. your o2's shuld be bouncing all over the place at idle..

      not too much help.. but i tired..

        i tried the puple wire today, but many many miss fires so not sure yet

              Mines hooked to the purple wire. worked fine for over a year
