okay, I'm investigating ATI's for a slightly custom install on my 98 3.8. While on the ATI website, I'm debating the difference between P600B (the same Stefan is using I believe) and the P-1SC. Look Here to see what I'm talking about. According to the graph, the only differences are self containment (in the P-1SC's favor), Max psi & HP (again in the P-1SC's favor) and the internal setup.
P600B = 3.05:1
P-S1C = 4.10:1
What exactly do these ratio's mean and what is the difference between them?
As it stands with what I know now the $200 more for the P-1SC's seems to be worth it!
Oh yeah, and does a surge valve work similar to a blow off valve as such that it relieves excess intake pressure that builds up under excessive RPM's? Thanks for the help!
