Didnt you look at the pics? If you look closely you can see that THIS KIT is high quality, practical, emissions legal, looks good, uses high quality components, and this V6 turbo f body doesnt have the incredibly obnoxious sound that I've heard from some other V6 turbo f body cars that have open downpipes :D  </font>
What a douche bag...

    Setup looks nice though.

Grow up, children. This thread is to discuss the pros and cons of his custom fabrication. If you don't have something to contribute, whether it be congradulations or criticism, then do it somewhere else. This is a technical forum, not the lounge.

Teufel Hunden, that looks like a very clean job, and the workmanship looks first class. Keep us all informed on your future progress, and give us some more details on how she runs! Soundclips?

Actually this thread is NOT to discuss the pros and cons of this setup, he is just showing pics. If he wants opinions im sure he'd ask. Not that anyone around here actually reads the topics.

As far as sound clips go, my car is actually very mild. You can definitely hear the Turbo, but it's not as pronounced as it is on some of the other cars, like the ones in Tiago's teaser vid. That's just because of the full exhaust and what not.

I'll keep everyone informed how things go!

sweet lookin setup! If i could give you any advice, id look for the GN bracket and heat shield to see if you could rig up a heat shield for that thing like Nationals had. Should cut down on the heat displacment in the engine bay.

                      Looks REAL good tho!

It's awesome to see another v6 fbody do well. We should all be happy for both Tiago and Teufel turbos instead of dogging on one or the other.
Him running 7 psi boost at this altitude is the equivalent of running aproximately 4.3psi of boost at sea level

At this altitude: absolute manifold pressure would be 12.0psi ambient + 7psi boost= 19 psi

At sea level: absolute would be 14.7psi ambient + 4.3 psi boost= 19psi

so with another kit running 7 psi at sea level your absolute manifold pressure is actually 14.7+7= 21.7 psi

so this custom kit put down almost identical numbers with 3.7 less psi of manifold pressure, and those numbers are on a mustang dyno, so on a dynojet they'd be even higher, maybe a little over 300rwhp.

were those 294/360 numbers from a dynojet? being conservative, this one might be at 310rwhp/380rwtq on a dynojet, at the sea level equivalent of 4.3psi boost pressure. and all through a cat and full exhaust.

just throwing out some numbers people, not flaming.. both kits do as they were intended ;)

Well I might as well say my piece 'b4 da lock down'...it certaingly is a very nice fab work...
disclaimer, not meant as a flame: firstly...from the pics you have posted, the hairdrier is in an absolute claustrophobic area, however I am inclined to take your word for it. If you say no problem then...at the track you will see what I mean!?!?
Secondly, maybe we both have a different idea of emissions legality!?!? As far as I am concerned, just because the headers are E.L...doesn't have anything to do with the actual emissions with the drier in the picture...even though your state is not concerned with a "visual"! It would never pass the sniffer with a turbo...and with the specs of your custom unit. ..I know, cold emissions = red flag!
Pls this is not a flame, we are only disseminating facts from fiction...

With all due respect, those who are challenging the FFF kit versus Teufel's...why?
Also numbers don't really mean crap...I will be more inclined to post empirical data...umm like a dyno graph...that is the important thing here....anyone can create a trailer queen...the proof is in the ability to sustain a broad TQ curve...come to think about it, I don't think I have seen any!?!? errr.. not really..

this is all not to mention the fact that assuming you took it to a deasent dyno those numebrs would be the "corrected" numbers that would make them essentaly equivelent..
