• Finally completed my project....

    http://www.forcefedfab.com/images/PI...a/turbota.html

I know its not a v6 just thought I would share.

It runs insane. Im still testing it out as I go...1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear traction limited, at 4 psi. First night out we had it at 12 psi and it was insane, but too much without doing some tuning first.

I will be having it on a wideband to make sure whats going on with the fueling. This motor is less forgiving then the 6s. AFter some bigger injectors and tuning the boost will go up.

INSANE. I've got a buddy who'd be interested in that if your making a kit. If you guys plan on selling this setup, do you have any certian price range you're gonna try to hit?

That's great, I really like how you cut out the front to get air to the intercooler. Looks mean too.

Im glad project BFT is done. Pics are looking good. Need some good pics of all the piping, its all a nice tight fit in there. Some things were a pain in the arse, but that first hit of the boost made it all worth while. Get a lil test and tuning done, and hopefully get some numbers.

oh yeah, let the chit talking begin...

looks nice... any provision for an air filter or piping for one on there? or was it just not on for pics?

is the piping in the pics mild steel? often times people wrap headers and other pipes in heat wrap, and the pipes have eaten themselves away from the inside,. because the heat has no place to go to dissipate, and fatigues the pipes.. something to keep an eye on down the road

yea I had never tried the wrap before, have heard some horror stories Im not too sure on it yet. The pipes are mild steel. I might just get them coated in a couple of months if need be. Sure would look like a million bucks :D

There is still plenty of room to install a filter in there, have a good six inches to the inner fenderwell. I just don't have one yet.

Looks like with some tuning work, you'll be looking at 10's!! Maybe more... you'll have to ride around the street with some sticky tires at all times. Good luck, sounds fun!
