Tiago i know people who wrap just about everything on GN's (downpipe, headers, Intake pipe from the IC to the TB) and have no problems at all. Give it a shot!

is the piping in the pics mild steel? often times people wrap headers and other pipes in heat wrap, and the pipes have eaten themselves away from the inside,. because the heat has no place to go to dissipate, and fatigues the pipes.. something to keep an eye on down the road
yea I had never tried the wrap before, have heard some horror stories Im not too sure on it yet. The pipes are mild steel. I might just get them coated in a couple of months if need be. Sure would look like a million bucks :D

There is still plenty of room to install a filter in there, have a good six inches to the inner fenderwell. I just don't have one yet.
</font>
I have also heard the header gets eaten away with the wrap.

When/if you get them coated, I would do it in a chrome, instead of a ceramic coating (like on my pacesetter headers).

My brother's headers have a chrome finish and still look AWESOME, where mine have already began to dull and don't look that great anymore :(

Any of the first FFF GP people wondering where their money went? Maybe this is why they haven't recieved their kits yet...?

Actually, that turbo has been sitting at Tiago's house since a LONGGGG time ago. IT was the original turbo that we were going to install on my 3.8L, but then decided it wouldn't fit in my engine bay. THe turbo shop originally sent us an oddball T66 so we sent it back, then they sent us this "T72" which is actually a t91 because they couldn't get the new t66 made quick enough.
2000v6bird, if you think Tiago is really making a huge profit off of these kits, he isn't. It takes a lot of sales to cover overhead, and production prices. Everyone who has ordered the kit has recieved everything except for piping and intercoolers.

They had trouble getting intercooler cores and the company that was suspose to make the flanges backed out. It is unfortunate that this has happened, but it is out of control of FFF's hands. They are doing everything possible to get everyones kits to them ASAP.

That being said, do not run your mouth again about this topic. It is very disturbing that you think FFF just took peoples money and is not delivering.

And people wonder why there isn't much of an aftermarket for our cars. It's people like you who talk **** on others that are trying to better our cars.

Why don't you either grow up and stop *****ing or make your own kit that is better than Tiago’s. Otherwise you are just a little ***** that just likes to stir **** up.

This forum is not meant to talk **** on people. It is to learn and better our cars. So grow up and contribute to the site or shut up.

FFF never missed a deadline (that wasn't their fault)
FFF at least posts progress reports...
no doubt they reply to emails and phone calls.
at least their project made it out to the market...
i could go on...
