and really got me excited over just how simple and cheap it would be for a low boost turbo 2.8 with stock internals. Just a heads up that you will be hearing from me more often. i was about to sell for a modded 80's buick 442, but this pic changed my mind.
i checked compression, to my surprise, they are all with in 1-3 psi of each other, im looking into my layout a little more and here's what i have come up with
-walbro 255
-21 lb injectors
-adjustable fpr
-rebuilt Garrett T3
-Grand National IC
-custom exhaust by me
-nessesary guages
(layout similar to the G/N to bring exhaust and ic piping to a bare min.) as for a tune, ill try my luck with doing it myself after READING ALOT, or i'll have to get mad cash and get a dyno tune.
then there's the ujoints and poly trans mount.
maybe a lsd....clutch is 3k miles new, im not gonna bother till it blows up...again
You will need a fmu, for those injectors to push enough fuel. but everything else sounds good, dont forget the small things, like a oil pan gasket since u will need to install a drain line, and the oil feed line, 02 bungs, stage colder plugs
i got the small stuff figured out, but i rather not bore you guys with 19" of braided steel line....3/8" tee...upper intake gasket..but what will make this or break this is if i score i good deal on this 98 GTP...clean and sure is faster than what i got...and less maintainence....and less insurance..67k miles.(my car is at 145k)..less attractive to law enforcment and so on
