I see everyone talking about how they find turbos and superchargers on ebay and in junkyards for their 3.8. Which ones are best for the 3.8 and easiest to get working or customize for our engine. I'm mainly interested in superchargers. thanks

While you may be able to find a junked supercharer.. its mounting it that will be the problem..
the only kit thats really aorund is the powerdyne.. and you can probably get one used if you hang out here for a little while..
thats your best bet..
the home made turbo kits are all pretty much one off's except tiago/ForceFeadFab kit..
essentaly it breaks down like this.. i am assuming you are on a budget..
you can probably get a used powerdyne kit for 2k or less.. but you will need to wait for a seller..
or..
you can get tiagos kit new..
or..
you can make your own turbo kit.. or supercharger kit.. there are some options for that as well.. sutch as using and ATI lt1 kit and stefans bracket to run a procharger..
none of the options are really all that cheep.. unless you are willing ot put a TON of work into it..

Yeah finding a good Turbo and SC on junk or ebay is hard. The turbo I got has too much play from the shaft. SC will show alot of lateral stress.
Better luck buying it new or from someone you can trust here.

Yeah, I yanked the v6 over the July 4th weekend. Stuffed the v8 up in there the next weekend. Still have to finish some things - exhaust, a minor wiring mod, alignment, bleeding the brakes, etc... Almost ready to fire it up!
If I could get my hands on a v8 bracket, I'd probably keep the blower. I figure it will be about the same to sell this kit and buy a v8 kit. It's just hard to get rid of something that I know... I know this blower and how it runs on the v6.
