      she might be .3 faster, but has less done to the engine and probably not as much weight reduction.

        actually...i used a g-tech pro computer to get my times...i ran 3 hard pulls after the supercharger was installed and tuned and that was my best time...i was running high 12s before that...g-techs are good for +/- .3 second and +/- 3 horsepower...so add .3 of a second to my time if you want...cuz to be honest..i dont really care...i've been looking at this site for a long time and only joined to get help with a new pulley...so...thats all i really have to say to those who have nothing better to do than talk ****...to those of you who gave me compliments...... thanks [img]smile.gif[/img] ..i've pretty much been working on the car non-stop for 3 years now...so its great to hear compliments...but you know how that is...and to those who shared your wisdom and offered help [img]smile.gif[/img] ...thank you also...im going to check out those web sites and see what i can do about a new pulley...i'll let you know how i make out...thanks!

              see...members like Tiago need to stop being haters and learn from cars that run faster times...its just my opinion...but i think you'd make more progress that way...i know i have...i've been looking at Shirl's car for a long time...i was really impressed with her progress...GM High Performance wrote an article on her car years ago (i think it was yours Shirl..correct me if i'm wrong)...she slapped a supercharger on her totally factory car..only dropped a 1/2 second in the 1/4 mile...then hollowed out the cat and got a borla exhaust system...and dropped 2 seconds! ..with those 3 mods alone she went from 15.5 to 13 1/4 ...very impressive...anyways...the g-tech is nothing more than a stop watch that calculates a 1/4 mile (i had a friend mark off the end and sure enough it was a 1/4 mile)...just like the track...a 1/4 mile with a clock...this is not highly complicated lol...but i guess a lot of this is for another forum...anyways...thats just my advice...take my word for it or not...but my car has been nothing but tested and tuned for 3 years straight...it does what i make it do...i dont stop until i reach my goal...i saw a lot of V6s out there running 12s...so i wanted to run 11s...now that i have...im satisfied...those who know me...know me...i just wanted help with a pulley...i dont have anything to prove...except to myself...only took me 3 years lol

                    actually...ravenp...i have a couple questions for you if you dont mind...i've been thinking of switching to 3.42s and noticed thats what you're using...do they howl a lot?...how did it effect your gas mileage?...also...did you have to recalibrate your speedometer?...and most important...how was the performance increase??...thanks and sweet ride!

                      You may want to stop by a 1/4 mile track and run some legit #'s

                        haha...well....i know a lot of guys that know a lot about cars who trust them enough..like i said...they can be a couple tenths of a second off...add it to my time...i dont really care...and gee...i wonder what your opinion would of been if i gave a time slower than yours...hmmmmmm...but i have to admit i am pretty impressed with your car...running the times you did on nitrous alone...NICE!

                            ok...can you guys make my 1/4 mile time a different topic please?...i just wanted help with a new pulley...and some gear ratio info...its kind of getting a little hard to dig through all the trash talk just to get to the people who actually had something to say to me that was of some use (i thank you guys again for those posts..and compliments) ...i was really surprised when i woke up the next morning and saw all the replies...i thought they were all going to be help...but half of them were help...and the other half are people trash talking me and trash talking each other...sheesh!...i've never seen so much *****ing on one site

                              Sorry dude.. G-Tech's are pretty worthless. Track numbers are the only numbers accepted here. Now as for your questions ASP makes the pullies. I would go 3.73's over 3.42's. The reason I say this is I have 3.42's now and I want a little more pull. What gears are you running currently?
                              2000 Firebird. Whisper Lid, True duals, TSP mail order tune, Built Tranny , TCI 2800 stall verter, B&M tranny cooler, Eaton LSD, 3.42 gears. Current best ET. 15.232 89.09 MPH 2.175 60ft on stock 3.42\'s and open diff.<a href=\"http://www.geocities.c

                                cool...i already contacted ASP ...just waitin for them to write back to me now...im hoping even if they dont currently sell what im looking for they can at least cook something up ...so 3.73s would be the way to go?...should i go open or posi?...im not really having any tire spin as it is right now...but posi would be cool i guess...right now im running Yukon 3.08s ...they're ok...but i have a bit of delay off the start while im waiting for my supercharger to creat boost and before i can hit the nitrous...so im really looking for more of a jump off the start...and a smaller pulley would be nice cuz it would be such a big yet cheap mod ...thanks!
