i cant really tell what it uses to store the data...i know it uses that cable but i cant tell exactly what it uses to store it on a removeable disk...or if it goes right to a PC ...either way...its sweet...but probably too much for me to invest in anyway

Hey Scott, got your e-mail. Yeah, the pulley you need would be 2.8" or 2.7" to give you 9-11 psi. I bought an 8 rib (not the standard 6 rib)pulley from ebay. I took it to the shop and paid $15 to smooth it out and grinded to 2.9". Then went back the second time and paid $15 to put in a spiral groove, or you could do 6 lateral grooves.

The JohnD wrap is a different belt route. The regular Vector Perf. set up only grips 50% of the pulley but the JohnD wrap grips it by 65%. I will try and e-mail you the diagram.

As far as gears, go for the 3.42. That seems to be the best gear for us. The fastest cars here have them. 3.73 is great too. But 3.08 will do too, depending on what tires you're running.

But which ever one you go for you'll still need some recalibration and tuning. HPtuner will help you get rid of the limiters and give better tuning too.

Since your from NY you should meet with Shirl and James. With that kind of mod you can be 11 sec. with no problem. Besides James needs to be spanked. :D

yea 3.42 gears are the best with autos, good get up and go, but they don't kill your top end. I had my PCM flashed to Y87 specs that come with 3.42s and posi. If you plan on HP tuners software though, I would just go that way to reprogram for new gears. I paid like 70 bucks at the dealership for them to reflash my PCM, however some dealerships will not do it. Good luck with your car man, I like what your doing.

hey guys...thanks for all the info...especially you Mighty Thor...got your email...i think im just going to see what happens with 9 - 11 lbs of boost first...then i'll see about new gears...running that much boost i should definitely be in the 11s

woohoo! ...just ordered my custom 9lb pulley from asp racing...only cost $95 ($125 if he can get a mill open to put the letteral grooves in it) and is going to be here in about 1.5 weeks...so i should be able to have it on when my car gets on the dyno next month [img]smile.gif[/img]

thanks voided! ...im possitive my 8/28 dyno is going to show at least 330 hp with the supercharger alone...especially with the 9lb. pulley...and im pretty sure im going to peak in the early 400s with the nitrous IF my fuel system can handle it...if not...oh well...pump upgrade time...its gonna ROCK!

thanks green! ...i got a 9 - 10 lb. pulley on the way just for that show...its gonna kick ***...i love your car man...very unique...i checked out your link of the intercooled powerdyne and i've actually seen your car on camaroz8 a long time ago...im posted there too under "sdoering" ...kick ***!
