Install looks pretty strait forward to me too. Dont see much room for improving the install instructions either (even has aim and email for all the guys involved which is extremely nice to have). good job. now just get DHL to move their azzes.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

thats a healthy full weekend project assuming everything goes well..
as far as the install guide goes..
it would be nice to see some torque specs in there.. at a minimum the ones that can be looked up in any of the GM f-body service manuals.. not everyone has them.. like me..
that and are you really planning on using barbed fittings for the FMU lines??
isent that kinda well.. F'NG INSANE??
vortech makes a nice set of braided lines.. riles had them when he sent me my powerdyne kit.. IMHO that is a major safty upgrade i would do fist for any of you GP'ers.. nothing is more fun then pouring fuel all over your engine..

4 hours huh.. I dunno.. Its possible.. if you have a lift and all the right tools.. IMHO it shuld have torque specs.. Anything and everything shuld.. not to say that you cant be fine w/o but i am sure there are gunna be people who "F" it up due to something silly like that..
as far as the bared fitting thing goes.. yeah it will "probably be jsut fine for pretty much everyone.. however.. if oneof thsoe clamps busts.. and at 70+ psi at wot it runs a pretty good chance of pushing off even those triple barbed fittings..
IMHO better safe then sorry.. expecialy when for $100 or even less (if you make them) you can get a set of braided lines with as good as stock connections directly from vortech.. I am sure they provide them with all their GM kits..
I jsut worry about the 1% chance that one of those fittings comes off.. you have fuel dumping all over your header.. then fire.. and then those rubber lines are wasted.. and you have fuel all over the place.. 3rd degree burns and pile of metal/plastic that used to be an f-body.. ever seen a car burn to the ground at the track?? I have.. its not funny..

talked to joe (riles).. said he called vortech directly.. and they sent him the lines they use for their z28 kits.. they worked like a charm.. on both his and my car..
he said they were about $80..roughly $95 shipped..
but it took him a little convincing to get vortech to send them..
to be honest i am sure a cheeper rout would be ot make your own or have them made at a shop.. you can get the braided hose, fittings, and tools you need to do it from jegs and summit..
heck.. they may even have a set allready made...

there is no way the hose will come off if you install it correctly. For peace of mind, after a couple days of driving with it you could REMOVE the clamp and they sitll wouldn't come off the BARB. OF course noone will remove the clamp, just extra security.

I got my connector finally and the guy just knocked on the door and walked off. By the time I opened the door I see him about a block away with his yellow DHL shirt and my package just sitting at the front door.
