Nope just a downpipe. </font>
so what the point of having the exuast on you car??????

and how hard would it to connect it to the exuast?
</font>
Shouldn't be hard at all. I am in the process of getting mine done. Within a week or so I'll be taking mine to an exhaust shop and hooking mine back up.

wow this just keeps getting better and better. how the hell can you call this a complete kit if the buyer has to take it somewhere to have the exhaust fab'd to hook it up.
NOT COOL!!!

It was said many times that all this kit had was a downpipe. I don't recall seeing it said anywhere that it would hook back up to your exhaust.

You already stated that it was said. Now your saying that it didnt have to be said. And your comment about the clutch was the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. The tires are going to get fried off the car, but no one was expecting the kit to come with those.

Why did you delete your post?
</font>
Just trying to get you to understand about what will and will not come with the kit. Don't worry though. It will include all the stuff required for the kit, not everything to make your car exactly the way YOU want it.

The dumbest thing you have ever hear huh? Well My stock clutch didn't even make it down the track for one pass. Guess it was pretty dumb to say that you will need a new one?

I deleted the post because I was going to try to reword what I said to come across better.

Snatch, it cost me $150 to get my downpipe cut in half, electronic cutout welded onto the top, then for a pipe to be ran back to my cat. It should cost you less than $50 if even that. The kit was advertised as a downpipe, which was even shown in all of the pictures.

It never said you have to make a portion of the kit to get it to work with your stock exhaust.
Just because you guys had an open down pipe on your cars doesnt make it obvious that the kit would have to be fabbed after someone already paid $2650 for it. Why was there so much talk about ground clearence issues if the "production kit" was never going to be routed that way.
Radcat I dont care about your stock clutch! After you put the turbo on you need to make provisions to get the car to handle the new power output. I read every post that was put up about this kit and half of the comments made were about ground clearance which totally makes it misleading when noone stated it as an OPEN DOWNPIPE KIT.
In reality I dont mind it being an open pipe, but that was not what was advertised and that bothers me. When I bought the kit I was also under the impression that we were getting a different turbo than the one that showed up at my door, and I let that slide as an honest mistake.
All this piled on top of the wait and lack of communication is not making for a smooth sale in my opinion.
Radcat are you part of FFF, or just a beta tester?
Shane

P.S. I would just like to know if myself and Viper were the only ones unaware of this being an open down pipe kit.

Sorry for the confusion but pics were posted and it clearly showed just a 3in downpipe. All the clearance issues were about the ypipe going under the k-member.

My car is the test car. I know how you feel about wanting to get all of this taken care of. That is why I'm getting involved now and seeing how I can help speed things up. I had to wait a long time before I even got my pipes. I still don't have the production pipes on my car. I have a set that had to be tweaked.

Listen I understand what your saying, but just because the pic was shown doesnt mean that its obvious.
Oh well just something else I have to prepare for. David any pics of your cutout? I wanted to do something like that right before the cat. Are you worried its going to get a to hot under the hood having an open exhaust blowing in the engine bay?

They made it very clear that the kit's exhaust only went as far as a downpipe. Also made it clear that the clearance issues were the y-pipe going under the k-member (thus all the debates about tubular k-members and their cost vs benefit).

I guess I just figured the talk was all about the pipes heading back to the exhaust. can someone show me something I may have overlooked that states it ends at an open down pipe?
