GTP blower on a Monte Carlo?

My buddy just got a '99 Monte Carlo with the 3800 series 2 V6 and I was wondering if the blower from a GTP would work on it. I know hood clearance might be an issue, but aside from that, does anyone know for sure if it will or will not work.

I mean I don't see why not. Camaro is to Firebird just as Monte Carlo is to Grand Prix, correct?

Also, does anyone know if the GTP has any forged internals at all to stand up to the boost?

err it will work on the motor as long as the intake ports are the same.......

i know the RWD and FDW ports on in upper and lower intake are different...... not sure about FWD n/a to FWD boosted. cars

same motor, 3.8L 3800 series II's. The Monte is FWD isn't it?

i know its the smae motor but sometimes the upper and lower intake ports are different

You would have to change the whole topend. Heads intake(s), fuel rails are all different.

Check out the L36 section of ClubGP for more info. I believe ZZP is coming out with a m90 upgrade for the NA engines.
