Best BOV for 9 lb. Powerdyne SC??

I'm looking for a BOV for my powerdyne SC, which is going to be making 9 - 11 lbs. of boost (currently making 6). What's the best one to go with?? Thanks!

I am pretty happy with my tuboXS type-s

its pretty basic but works well.. it also looks like it will last forever.. its not fancy.. but its a solid unit and gets the job done..

this is all not to mention the fact that turboXS is right odwn the street and they sold it to me at cost.. but either way.. its a nice BOV.. not stoopid loud.. but functional/reliable..

i would suggest the bosch for reasons i already told you in another post. if you want to get a more expensive one the greddy type-s is good and so is the HKS super sequential.

nice...i'll have to look into all of these...do you have to order the flange too and weld it to the discharge tube, or do these BOVs come with them?..thanks! [img]smile.gif[/img]

the turoXS ones all come with two flanges.. one mild steal and one aluminum.. you will use the steal one.. unless you are intercooled or something and have an aluminum pipe and a tig to hook it up to..

i would go tuboXS.. that unit will seriously last forever..

so i was checking out some of these BOVs...it looks like you just have them welded to the discharge tube...about how much does this cost?

if you know someone who can weld it usually costs about a six pack of beer, unless it gets to be a pain in the arse then its a case of beer (always let the welder choose his beer dont just get something you like and expect it to be ok). I'm not sure how much it costs in money... ive always payed in beer.

you cant take it to any show that does exhaust and i am sure they will slap it on for under $20..

its literaly cut a 1" hole.. and weld in bung..

the bosch 110 spec bov is good for 500hp and it's 30$$. best bang for the buck. i put out over 400rwtq on the supra and this bov is holding fine

yeah i am shure it holds great... the issue is if i am not mistaken that its non adjustable.. you want it to blow off asap to releave that pressure.. its a littel different on a supercahrged car..
