You don't need any sort of engine management system. Pretty much all of the FI guys on here are running with their stock computers and tuning. All you really need is the complete S/C setup (Belt, pullies, pipes, hoses... etc), an FMU and a fuel system up to the task.1998 Camaro, Arctic White

Garrett P-Trim T04 turbo

348rwhp, 379.5rwtq @ 10psi

I beg to differ, I'm looking to do the same thing. I am going to use the procharge psc-1 reverse rotation unit with a 8psi pully a gtp double crank pulley and a custom plate to adapt the supercharger to the engine block. I would use a fmu and a air to air intercooler. Doesn't look or sound to hard to me. I got the Idea and instructions on http://www.projectvirus.com/pathogen/albums/
Thanks Stefan and Jennifer.255/50R16 Tires, Pioneer Deck, Pioneer 4 Way speakers, PPI Amps, JL subs, Spec Stage 3 Clutch, Optima Yellow Top

No prob Razzer, that's why the stuff is up there.
Before submitting your car to the ProCharger treatment, you might want to take a look at Life as a BlownV6.
(Needs new motor, still leaking oil, only been to the track one time, never did test out this awesome suspension...)

Thanks Stefan and Jennifer.
I would mount the intercooler in a different way though. The same way some of the Turbo guys here done it.
Other stuff you need: cold plugs, wires, fmu, fuel pump, and gauges.
I say, expect to spent anywhere from $1800 to $2400. If you do most of the work. Check ebay, they got some great ATI and intercooler stuff for good price.
Say Jenn, how exactly did that happen?

We pulled the passengerside valve cover and ran the thing. Found that oil flow looked good and I have a bent pushrod. Gonna have that taken care of, not sure if I'm gonna have the other valve cover pulled.
Anyway, that's the story as it stands. Gonna replace the pushrod and the pressure sending unit and see what happens. *shrug* Sure beats that new motor suggestion.
How the heck do ya bend a pushrod?!

Hydrolock or over-rev (hit wrong gear) is usually the culprit.\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA

Last time I had the car to the track, it popped an air hose half way down a run. Felt more like the car hit a wall. Put it back together been driving it since then (less than 1000miles) but didn't hear until a week or so after that event.
I don't know about Hydrolock ... that'd be a ... wait, like coolant getting into the intake and potentially there after? (This was a Pennsylvania trip experience. TB gasket ruptured.) ... ugh.
If this whole problem is as simple as a pushrod, geez - I'll sleep easier tonight. I just hope I'm treating the problem and not just a symptom.

Yep, if the cylinder gets full of pressurized liquid, and the valve tries to open into it, a pushrod can bend.
Hopefully that's all you're up against. Hey Pathogen, With a p-1sc supercharger do you think that would stop all of the oit leaks? It has a internal oiling system no hoses or lines to tap. And if your running 6 to 8 psi there souldn't be any blowbye or piston damage as long as the fmu is adjusted properly with a hivolume fuel pump and intercooler. What are your thoughts on this. Its for a 2000 Camaro.255/50R16 Tires, Pioneer Deck, Pioneer 4 Way speakers, PPI Amps, JL subs, Spec Stage 3 Clutch, Optima Yellow Top

Razzer,
I run 9 to 10psi, running 6 isn't worth the money if you ask me. Using the P-1SC is going to make your install a lot easier and will eliminate the problems I’ve had with the return-line oil leak(s). As far as the blow-by goes, I’m going to recommend doing the throttle body PCV plug shown here. You’ll need to get a breather to replace your oil fill cap, or drill holes in your intake. I made my breather from an old fill cap and a random breather.
The headers and full exhaust didn't solve the blow-by problem for me. That plug did. ;)
Side note: The P-1SC is a bit more expensive then the P600-B. I chose the cheaper route.
