Hey everyone. Someone told me before what length and brand belt to go with if im going to do the Jogn D. wrap with a 9 lb. pulley, but I can't seem to find it. I thought it was on one of my posts somewhere. I think it was a 103.5 but I can't remember the brand. Anyone know what brand would sell this belt for my car? Thanks!!

I couldn't find a 103.5 anywhere, so I used a 103. It was tight, had to take the bolt out of the tensioner pulley, put the belt on, then put the bolt back in the pulley.
The only type of belt I've tried is the Goodyear Gatorback, I like it. a 104 shuld work.. i got a 105 the other day and it "could work" but it may strech.. and then its useles..
so..
104-103 is ideal.. becuase with my 105 you are almost all the way down with the tensioner..
i have a $20 rebate for summit so i am geting a gatorback from them [img]smile.gif[/img]

like ssms5411 said, there is a 103 and 103.8. I picked up a 103 today and I'll know in a few days if I can stretch it on like John D did in the past. Lets all stay updated\'98 Camaro V6<br />Appearance... pleasing<br />Performance... just a little extra air.Comment

The 103" belt works fine on mine, but that is with a 2.6" pulley. After it warms up I can still tighten the belt down almost half way on the tensioner. When I had my 2.9" pulley on, the 103.8" belt worked great.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

That's interesting. The 103 Dayco was pretty tight on mine. I had to muscle it in with my 2.9 pulley. I'm sure with the 2.6 it would be better.Originally posted by ssms5411:

ROFL.. i got a 103 gatorback on my car tonight.. on the stocker pully.. holy cr@p was that hard to get on.. but.. it did get on there.. and it was plently tight with the tensioner all the way up..
yeah so a 103.5 or the 103.8 would really be ideal..Comment
