Shane, you must note that I built that car on the little spare time that I have. It took over 6 months to complete. Refer to my other post to see why even if I had all teh spare time in the world I still woudln't have the power to do anything about this situation.
If I was the person installing everyone's kits, no doubt I could have finished it all months ago. But when it comes to making a "bolt on " kit, it gets alot more difficult because I can't just fabricate whtever I need to make things happen on the spot. THat is the extra difficulty in this.

Shane
He was just a beta tester/friend, but he ended up being the one that helped me find a solution to fix the flange fiasco. He took the iniciative and got it done. Radcat.

Shane </font>
I'm not the head of FFF but I did want to help Tiago get this kit out so I put in some of my own time and started looking around at machine shops in my area to see if somebody could make the flanges. I guess that doesn't mean anything though?

OK Ben,
What would you suggest we do to help? If you slapped down almost 3g's 8 months ago I think youd be singing a different tune. Put up or shut up. Go crawl back under your rock....

I waited about 6 months for a motor, and about 8 months to get my correct turbo in my hands and on the car. Am I *****ing about it? Nope. Want to know why?
Cars are a very expensive, and time consuming thing to mod. Whenever you order something like this, you should not expect to have it in a month or two. You can HOPE to have it within that time, but it mostly will not happen. Orders get delayed, parts run out of stock, business get backed up, it should ALL be expected with car parts. Hell, a pair of subframes from BMR right now may take as long as 4 months to get in my hands, due to problems they are encountering. I'm not trying to defend anyone, or make excuses. I think too many of you expected too much. I have heard of some turbo kits taking a year or more to reach their customer. I know that with some people a QMP kit took a while, and they were willing to wait because that is what they wanted.
Everyone just ease up, it may be hard to do but thats what needs to be done. Just because Tiago does not answer a call or two does not mean that he is avoiding you. How often do you forget your cell phone at your house for a day? Or the battery runs out and you forget to charge it?
WELCOME to the wonderful world of car modding. Time, money, and patience are all required.
DavidSiri, I think you are dead wrong on this. After payment was made to FFF in January, we were told that the kit was going to be shipped out mid-february, and i can go through my old emails to verify that if you want. We accepted a few months delay graciously with no complaints or anything, as spring started to roll through, we kept hearing and reading 'any day now, any day now'. Basically it looks like this kit won't be coming for at least another month. Which is horrible, cause i wanted to enjoy the kit on my car this summer, take it to the track etc. But now, i've got nothing to show, and it will be way too late in the season for me to plop in the turbo and actually get some time to enjoy it. If we were warned that delay's may or may not happen, instead of promising a mid-february shipping date, some of us would have reconsidered our purchases.
It's just that the money i used to pay for the turbo was taken from my credit line, so i've been paying 8 months interest on something i don't even have. That's an extra $400+ canadian dollars in interest that i have paid for something that i'm not even sure is coming anymore. And you're telling me to just chill and relax? Why don't u cut me a check for 400 bones send it to me, and then i'll chill and relax, how does that sound? (Throwing money out the window for no reason is not something you can really relax about)

When someone says it will be shipped in February, what do you expect us to think? Also, if i knew the kit was going to take this long i would have kept my powerdyne instead, and then considered joining the next GP.

I did not purchase a FFF kit, however, if DHL has the IC's somewhere and there has already been a claim made, couldn't FFF go ahead and send out new IC's to everyone, and just ask DHL to return them back to FFF? That would certainly help the purchasers out.

I somehow doubt his reasoning is based on Laziness... Maybe he's a student and only has alot of time for his car in the summer. That's the way it is for me. Between the Marine Corps and College, i have almost no time for anything during the school months.
Custom work takes time... its not like a business is going to stop all their previous orders for custom **** for something in such little demand.. what? only like. 8 of you ordered the kit?
if i owned a machine shop, and had lots of orders to take care of, and i had a guy come in saying hey, i got 8 custom flanges to make, and need mandrel bends.. i need them quick.. 8 people are *****ing about it.. ill be damned to give them buisiness.
you guys are just ungreatful i think.. you all got this kit for a STEAL i think.. quit your whining
