Originally posted by badbird02: um tiago. i think you need to get a better person to weld or a better welder. because those weld look like crap. ive been thinking about getting a turbo or s\c kit and i do like the price of your kit. but i dont think i can trust welds that look like that. if there is any way i can help just e-mail me at badbird02@msn.com as for the turbos them selves do you think there is room for bigger or not internally regulated. but hey im just trying to give my .02$ and dont think im bad mouthing you. best of luck with your buisness.
Classic Noob not knowing whats going on... Its been said a thousand times, but no one seems to want to listen. NO ONE has pics of production peices, so quit the bickering. I have seen pre-production peices and the welds looked nice. And just to clarify Viper, there will be welds, but the bends are mandrel, so flow will be optimized.
On another note, anyone who has dealt with shipping knows that the shipping companies dont really give a damn about losing your stuff and getting you the $$ back in a timely manner. Again, understand you are dealing with a small startup that cannot go out and tell Spearco to make another 8 intercoolers on their tab while they reconcile with the shipping company that lost $4000 worth of product. Its frustrating, but it the way things are.
Originally posted by BirdOfPrey01: Well, id love to have the kit, dont get me wrong, if it comes mid september thats fine, but i must have FFF's word on that.
All I'm saying is its been so long and other options are available. I wish it would just come tommorrow morning
Someone needs to get serious here, there has to be a foot put down and a angry face approach. If that fails they need to contact a lawyer. The parts were ordered 7 months ago.
The last thing I want to do is refund.
my only point was this: you guys have been "promised" time and time again that your kits will be shipped out on so and so date, or that you will recieve them on such and such date... how many more times are the FFF GP customers going to believe that??? it's not right IMO.. and all this debate about who's fault it is doesnt matter... thats besides the point.... and since FFF sold the kits, they have to be prepared to return money to impatient customers.
I don't normally get involved in these arguments, because this is Tiago's business, but I'm going to give my opinion on this: If you PAID for a product "in full", you should RECEIVE it "IN FULL" in a timely manner. Case closed. If I shelled out 3g's (or whatever it was) 7 or 8 months ago, I'd be on that phone EVERYDAY until I either received the product or my refund. That goes with anything, not just what is being discussed here. And on that note, get to work!
