well it looks like i do in fact have internal damage to the engine...from what i hear from a couple different shops so far..i would spend a lot more money opening the engine up and doing a rebuild than just buying a new engine and dropping that in...so...it looks like over the winter sometime i'll be doing that....that sucks...of course its not going to stop me from installing the 9 lb. pulley and the fuel pump on the one thats in there now..haha

i'd build a engine up using forged internals and such, rather than buy another stock engine. 1 Grand seems a little steep too, but then again, that has very little miles.

Dude, seriously -- first off check out Life as a BlownV6. This is what you can be expecting.
Secondly, check out www.car-parts.com for your motor if you want to get another one. I've found them with 5K for $750.
You might also want to look into getting a GTP motor and swapping over a few parts from your broken motor.

fuel pump and pulley on with a John D wrap, you should see 13s if your engine is actually just fine

yeah im definitely gonna do the John D wrap when i pull it off to put the new pulley on...that'll rock to get some more low end power

Fix or replace your motor, then get some good tires. You'll do fine. (And come to AIS next spring dang it! lol )
