Lets try to keep this civil please......

    I purchased this http://www.camarov6.com/cgi-bin/ulti...c;f=8;t=005600
It says he had to remove the A/c on his 98'. I visually looked at this and it looks like these will fit on my 97 and the only thing that will be close is the belt tension roller (above the A/C) With a little bending of the passenger header I think there is no reason why I would have to delete the A/C. The headers, circumference wise, are smaller then the pacesetters.

Quick brake down of what I got...
~apexi boost timer with air/fuel guages
    ~greddy profec B boost controller
    ~blow off valve
    ~greddy external wastegate
    ~forward sweeping headers, custom
    ~intercooler
    ~lots of stainless pipe

From what I can tell here are my options.
    option 1
I can install the FWD sweeping headers (they need a little work on them not much but some They are not bad but not something I would spend 1300 for maybe worth 800-1000 after I clean them up). Delete my EGR and install the rest of the equipment and add a FMU. I would have to get HP tuners to delete the EGR codes in order to pass inspection (i think)...

Option 2 (I'm leaning towards) Leave my pacesetters in place. Leave my EGR in place. Fab the piping for the turbo, install a FMU and the rest of the equipment. Clean up the headers and maybe get them coated then sell them with the y pipe for the turbo.

    My concerns:
    1. I want to be able to pass inspections here in Texas.
    2. I want the best performance I can get while working on a budget. Meaning I do not want to hear you should just go buy a new turbo kit and be done with it....

Time frame: I'm looking to do this in the next month.

Any advise is welcomed. Please ask if I did not supply information you think is important....

Pat, I think we can make the pacesetters work pretty well. I doubt you can get all the stuff you want with the forward facing, it might give you a slight improvement in performance, but its negligable for the street daily driven setup you are looking to do. Id sell those forward facing to someone that might want a more extreme setup. Either way, like Tiago said, we can git r done.

I agree, I was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas that might be something we have not looked at. Better/worse whatever.... Still a few weeks before the work can be started anyway....
