okay who's got them and which is better? I've looked at Blitz, Greddy, HKS and Apexi, just can't decide. I plan on eventually running beyond the 12psi range so I want good control.
Also are these things capable of working with another companies Maft or AIC.

I is, as was and still is... :D
Sold my HKS EVC4 to a member here...lol! I hated to do it but I was getting a 3-in-1 deal for half the price I paid for that unit. At the end...I shouldn't have sold it :(

I think if you can afford an EBC buy the HKS EVC4 just because of the fuzzy logic. The freaking thing learns..yeah but good luck trying to program it...a lot of people avoid the evc4 just because of that. Now when learnt...say bye-bye to boost creep, boost spike...I mean the thing is so precise hard to explain. You will notice more power (torque) without adding more PSI and I do mean NOTICE. Then there is my best feature: Scramble boost. I know there is now a EVC5...whatever you choose spend the extra and get the EBC...you will never go back. Right now I am using something a wittle different, not state-of-the art but it is still better than a manual. Electronically...it ties and dispells all the talk about lag and overboost

I will also mention, some EBC work thru gearing rather than RPM...more dinero...not really worth it if you aren't racing! The one BAD thing about all this EBC that are RPM governed...(well in my case at least I don't see why it will be any different. I have a FWD 3800)...but care has to be taking especially in 1st gear...programming 12 psi and having all this pressure in 1st will most likely devour the tranny due to torque multiplication. Well a stock tranny at least... :D
