i believe he did have them welded....

its the fact that the flanges are so thin..they blew out on him.

i say go with pacesetter :D

he did not blow out a weld.. haha no way.

and 139 rwhp on motor NA. no way it dynoed that.. 3.4 can dyno that. something is seriously wrong with your car if that is the NA numbers. did you have a lid connected to TB? or just drawing air through TB?

you have gained like 100 HP on 8.5 PSI.

and all this problem with pulleys and such make me realize how much better turbos are than s/c

Well that new dyno made the observed efficiency go up... way up. went from 55% increase in power to 100%... not too shabby.

There are no problems with the pullies. No one ever knows exactly what the pulley will run until you run it. Not every motor is the same. Wouldn't call it a problem at all. I own 2 vehicles with forced induction. Daily drivers, one with a Procharger and one with a Intercooled Turbo system, both of which I designed. There are pros & cons to both.

And it is not BS, you are welcome to come watch, we have nothing to hide. We told everyone here that we have a major problem with these headers. I did not put these on Ryan's car, nor did I recommend them. They are what he had. Yes, there is a big problem and Ryan has told everyone that he is going to re-dyno when they are welded. This is why we have Beta Testers, to get more input than from just one vehicle. Especially one that has been, (said with love), a PITA. We are really excited for some results from the others, due to all our hardships with Ryan's car.

Actually, I dont think the flanges on the rksports are to blame. I think that it is the Y pipe. I have had NO leaks from mine since I got a new Y pipe made for me.

hey lordofthebling. give him a break.

i for one know how much power an exhaust leak robbs from your car.. since i have a slight leak at this moment. an 87 civic could prolly spank me right now with this leak i have.. that just shows how much power a leak can rob..

I am ready to GO! I want whatever pully will give me 10 PSI (or as close as possible), as well as the bigger injectors, and the pcm tunning.

I have new pacesetter cermaic coated headers, 3" catco, 3" borla catback, 3.73, zexel torsen, 160 thermo, and I want to get some numbers. I think everytone else wants to see the numbers as well to compare.

I contacted the shop today, and someone said Bill would call me back. I need to know how you want the money transfered, and when the whole kit for 10 PSI will ship out.

Contact me (Bill) at (856) 383-9723. Money is in hand, and waiting to get this thing rollin.

Yes it's true his car really dyno'd that low. Thats why when I had my 3.4L back in the day he never walked me at all, i always lost, but very little, honest.
I told him since I met him 3 years ago to junk those things, back then he thought they were nice, but now I bet he hates them just as much as I did back then =)

Nope... they aren't welded. Instead i tried custom 1/8inch thick aluminum gaskets as a last resort... those blew out too... now i have to weld it!

Steve, when i met you, i had just bought those... i wish i had known about this board before i bought them or i never would have.

Yes, Tiago... they don't leak.. not right away, but once you blow out those gaskets and you don't replace them right away (like within a couple days) the thin flanges start to warp. I am being robbed of back preasure and i know its those damn headers. I am going to weld the $h!t out of it and i am going to dyno it again. I know i have more power than that cause i can feel the difference when my car runs 1/2 hr without the gaskets blowing out.

Anyone want to trade my rksport headers for stock tubular manifolds?

Is it in you and every other LS1 drivers DNA to act an *** ??? and think that your car is the **** and everyone elses suck. Everytime there is a thread about tiagos car you point that same thing out. why are you so bitter?? maybe its because you found out you were not smart enough to do your own turbo and therefore envy tiago for doing his. we all remember your sob story of why you couldnt do it blah blah.. excuses. i dont see why you hate on him so much just because he can do something that you cant?? and you nothice in every thread you are the only one mentioning this? everyone else knows thats what had to be done so IC could get enough air. you seem to have some serious jealousy problems with tiago and his car

Dont hate on tiago just because your LS1 wont put out those numbers. your car is still gods gift to automobiles just ask 98% of other LS1 owners. i dont see why you all must hate on him. he did something that you couldnt do, you should give him props and not bash on him.

did tiago ever say that thats the way the front end was going to stay forever?? his car inst a show car yet ;) right tiago? just because your wheels are absolutely hidious and do not go well with the car doesnt mean you need to make your self feel better and hate on tiago. your headlights are cool yes.. on a BMW.. not on your cars.

would you rather something that worked and is proven to work and wasnt cosmetically perfect yet or would you rather a car that had everything lookin great and put out weak numbers?

                                quit hating on tiago
