    would you rather something that worked and is proven to work and wasnt cosmetically perfect yet or would you rather a car that had everything lookin great and put out weak numbers?

    The reason I am bringing it up is because he thinks his kits are hot ****, when the just look that way...have you seen under the hood?? Not to mention he is calling batman's kit crap, which in fact, it's not, it's just on the wrong car.

    As for my LS1 making power, uhmm, how do YOU know what it's even at? I guess the G5X-2 cam I have coming next week wont give me any kind of hp gains at all eh?

      yeah well you all think bill/ ryans kit is hot ****. its all show no go IMO right now. tiago got more power and Torque out a 3.4 with the same amount of boost. tiagos kit isnt all show right now. this isnt production model and we didnt have the big bucks to make it look pretty for you.

      get a life and quit hating

      and as for your ls1 making power. with everything in your sig its prolly around 320 and 330. we all know what LS1's make power wise

        This kit is not hot ****, it is a solid kit, on the WRONG car, that isn't making the power it should be. Tiago's car had 16#'s of boost...

          Yes, Tiago... they don't leak.. not right away, but once you blow out those gaskets and you don't replace them right away (like within a couple days) the thin flanges start to warp. I am being robbed of back preasure and i know its those damn headers. I am going to weld the $h!t out of it and i am going to dyno it again. I know i have more power than that cause i can feel the difference when my car runs 1/2 hr without the gaskets blowing out.

          Ryan, Ive ran the RKsport headers with stock flanges on my car for a year now, never had a problem, I think peopple just over tighten those flanges thats when they warp, Im running probably that same gasket you are talking about, thick aluminum, wokrs great, but just have to tq it right, tricky.

          your car definately did pick up great hp with the blower, I still think you should pull way more tq then that though.

          steve, bite me. this thread isn't about my front clip, and as said 40 times before that isn't necessary I just wanted to do it.

            i was talking about his numbers at 7 PSI. the first dyno. ryans kit has tuning and more #'s of boost and is making less power.
            the differences in TQ are what amazes me

              when they did the dyno with the intake disconnected but leave the S/C pulley on? therefore it was spinning the charger but the car wasnt seeing the boost.. just was getting regular amount of air through the TB? if so thats where the power loss what.. 30HP parasitic loss is amazing. a header leak didnt cause a 30 HP loss in power.. sorry no way

                Thats the same thing I asked and from what was posted it seems as though the entire unit was removed, so that wouldent explain the low dyno.

                Steve, I know I have been accused myself of having a bad attitude and being an *** , probably rightfully so, but you are just plain adding NOTHING to this discussion, just keep out if you have nothing to add except to bash about something that was never even in this thread to begin with. With all the bashing that went on in the LS1 boards about Tiagos recent dyno numbers I have noticed how bad an attitude we have even amongst ourselves not only as F-Body owners, but even among the V6's. I know i might have lit a flame every once in a while on this supercharger kit and I appologize for that to Batman and Mach. Point is to get the most out of the FI, and its gonna be interesting when people like Redaudiomobile who wanna push the kit get working on it. You guys keep pushing the SC and im sure Tiago will keep pushing the Turbo. I gotta give props to both Batman/Mach and Tiago and even Stefan for being civil when the rest of us are not, and really trying to keep the whole FI thing a healthy rivalry instead of a deathmatch.

                  I stopped reading at the top of this page..

                  you do NOT loose because of 3".. huge myth there.

                  You may be losing due to leaky collectors not because of back pressure but because of air/fuel mixture contamination giving the o2's false readings.. Just weld them already.. We ALL have done it.

                  Regarding your NA #'s.. You can't just remove a blower on a dyno and then dyno NA.. Your PCM had ZERO time to adjust. Those #'s are worthless.. Besides, you have an FMU and a lot of other little tweaks.. No way the PCM could adjust in time and calc optimized tables.

                  In conclusion, your car is a blower car, NOT an NA car.. forget about NA now.. its worthless.. its all about boost and how much you put out with boost.

                        you wouldnt have a flame war over on the ls1 boards! 336rwhp on an ls1 is very easy to do, and to say owned on an ls1 board where many many many members have had thier car long enough to put a few hundred in and make the same power, it's asking for it. It's the fact that a v6 guy is making some nice power, and made it seem like it's god almighty power that beats every ls1, it tends to piss them off.

                          turbos make a much nicer powerband then NA, it'd take a lot more then 330 rwhp out of an NA LS1 to keep up with Tiago.

                            oh come on you REALLY Think I posted lswhat thinking I can beat any LS1 out there? please dont' insult my intelligence, it was just for fun and because its more then usual ls1 light bolt on numbers. Of course I still like v8s and totally respect them, hell I Want one extremely bad and will get one in the near future but the fact remains those were hella numbers from a 3.4L thats all the thread was about, ls1 numbers from a 3.4L if you get your panties in a bunch, deal with it.


                            now batman/bill, what do you think about the tq numbers? I still think they are low ( no pun intended) I don't see why it woudn't be more in the 300 range.

                                In order to be fair...

                                Tiago had 16or so # of boost, a CO2 intercooler sprayer, a cam, and some other engine work.

                                I personally prefer turbos, but c'mon man, I'm not going to say this SC kit sucks just cause the car it is on is obviously having some problems.

                                I hope Batman gets whatever issues there are ironed out, and gets back to us.
