Tiago had 16or so # of boost, a CO2 intercooler sprayer, a cam, and some other engine work.

I personally prefer turbos, but c'mon man, I'm not going to say this SC kit sucks just cause the car it is on is obviously having some problems.

I hope Batman gets whatever issues there are ironed out, and gets back to us.

dammit people why are you starting to compare my car to his again, its NOT ABOUT THAT...

Btw I have a stock cam, stock engine, just ported heads and the intake, and my 16 psi dyno run didn't make any power above what my previous at lower boost did, that was the entire purpose of trying higher boost. Now drop it.

Sorry, I thought you had a cam...

And there is no way that the two cars will never be compared.

        QB]

I'll give you guys some really good dyno numbers. My last pull was 220 at the wheels N/A. (M5) I've added a couple other things since then that should get me to at least 230. I also recently had my RK sucks collector opened up and new 3" exhaust from there back.

I fought the leaky collectors for a long time. I solved the problem by wrapping some HD aluminum foil around the center sections of some metal gaskets, then coated them in high temp RTV. Problem with those flanges is they warp and bow out the middle, this is where you get all the leaks. As cheesy as it sounds the HD aluminum foil worked for me. I used to blow out gaskets every 2 weeks and have had the same set in there over a year now. They have held 100 shots of nitrous and the powerdyne well.

Reason I'm telling you this is I want you to think about having to pull your headers off the motor if you need tranny work. It's so much easier to drop that y-pipe instead of pulling the headers completely, but if it's all welded together then they have to come out in one piece.

Keep us posted on the progress. I'm ready to order when the 10lb kit is ready with tuning and injectors. I have an extra computer to send for my tuning, just needs my VIN # flashed in.

Ryan, Ive ran the RKsport headers with stock flanges on my car for a year now, never had a problem, I think peopple just over tighten those flanges thats when they warp, Im running probably that same gasket you are talking about, thick aluminum, wokrs great, but just have to tq it right, tricky.

your car definately did pick up great hp with the blower, I still think you should pull way more tq then that though.

steve, bite me. this thread isn't about my front clip, and as said 40 times before that isn't necessary I just wanted to do it.

Alright... forget the other yahoos and their bickering... What else do you think might be affecting torque? I have 3.42 gears and last night we welded the falanges. Hopefully the next dyno will show some better result but in the meantime, how can i get my torque numbers up NA? Any kit will only increase what you have. I am starting off really low to begin with and i can't think of what might be doing it. Could it be my trans? I don't think its my trans cause it shift correctly.... what about my stall converter?

I would ask you what inch your exhaust is, but we are talking two differnt worlds here with super and turbos... your exhaust is routed totally differnt cause of your turbo....

if you ever need to take the headers off cut the y pipe its not a big deal and get them welded back up when your done

none are gonna see your y pipe anyways

Sounds like the RkSport headers are really sucking, and thats sad to hear. I bought them also Still haven't gotten them installed. I am planning on getting all the **** ready, and one weekend doing headers, next installing the supercharger a week later. Hopefully my car can produce some decent numbers also. I am ready to purchase 10 psi kit when it becomes available.

Steve, I don't get this. How can it be in a wrong car?

What Batman is getting is called a bug. It's almost a typical thing for any poweradders. Once the bug is sorted out, it will make good power all around.

Sorry, I missed your post here.

Last time I went to the track, back in March I was going for my first pass with the blower. I had the bottles filled and ready to spray. Unfortunately on the first pass the clutch just spun after my 1-2 shift. I was really bummed, I cut a 2.0 60" (which is good for my bad driving).

So I sent my flywheel to SPEC back in March for them to make an aluminum one. I'm STILL waiting and have a toasted clutch. I haven't been able to get into the boost without smoking the clutch in months. Major suckage.

I hope I can get a clutch in before the ATI unit shows up or it will be worthless to drive. I'd like to dyno the powerdyne at 6lbs before I take it off.

As Ryan said in several other posts, he had a week V6 to begin with. Save your judgement until we get some numbers from the beta testers. I'm willing to bet money they will yield better numbers.
