Can't you read? It says we contacted each other through e-mail or do you want me to post his reply for proof? Plus i have posted my phone number. Why don't you do what your supposed to do as a moderator instead of getting in my face about something that is none of your business or are you too busy being in bed with Stefan? Lock the thread and get a life

Don't worry about the driveshaft loop not being sent.

Just a suggestion...out of respect..why not edit out his home address..It may not seem like a big deal, but would you want your address posted on the internet?

You're the one who needs to get a life. The only way I can stay sane through these ridiculous posts of "excuses" is to crack jokes. Maybe you should spend less time posting and more time looking for work. It's getting old hearing about you not returning calls, money, and now PARTS. But I will take your advice and do my job as a moderator since this is another "going nowhere" thread. Consider it locked.

Yes, when the transaction is a direct result of communication that takes place on this board. We have "warning about such-and-such member, he hasn't delivered the parts I bought" posts often. It's his responsibility to warn other members about potentially losing money. Nothing personal, just standard business procedures. It's sort of like the BBB for online V6 parts sales.

Based on his tone in this thread that's not what it sounds like. Maybe now but this thread is how old now? 3 months? It took you that long to contact him to the point where he felt comfortable about the deal?

You don't know what my situation is so please don't get in my business, you wouldn't want to be in my position.

Nobody ever asked about your situation. You're the one who keeps bringing it up as an excuse. All people here care about is prompt delivery of parts that they have already paid for. No matter what your situation is, don't accept people's money if you're not going to ship the part promptly.

I wouldn't laugh Stefan, i recall a time when you were so deep in the whole that you were using western union to do transactions.

I was relatively broke but what really drained me was supporting myself and Valarie, my unemployed ex. She was in Washington State at that time which is why I kept sending her money via Western Union. Yes, I was a fool, but you tend to be foolish when you love someone...

Yes, she helped. But it helped more when we decided to give up on the dead job market in Virginia Beach and we moved up here to D.C. where our salaries have tripled. We miss the beach dearly but a steady paycheck is more important...

As stated above, it is the responsibility of members and moderators to inform other members about potential threats. Why else would we ban members who con other members? It's happened before and I'm sure it will happen again. Mind you, I'm not saying you're conning anyone, I'm just explaining why this sort of thing DOES belong on the board--so all can see.

Woo-hoo! Me and Shirl, you know it!

BATMAN--no one is insulting you personally. We are criticizing your business practices. There is absolutely no excuse for accepting money and then not delivering the product! This is the same exact thing that Bill is receiving flak for. If people pay, they expect prompt product delivery. Nothing more, nothing less. Both you and Bill are fantastic about explaining why you are unable to fulfill your halves of the bargain. Wouldn't it be easier just to either do it or not accept payment in the first place?
