I am a new member and have some general questions for the forum. I have a '95 Firebird that origanally came with the standard 3.4L and a 5spd. I have just recently upgraded to a '95 3.8L and a '96 5spd. I wanted to keep the standard tranny. In the new engine is a custom ground Crane high energy cam, lifters, new rods and retainers. I also have the RK sport ceramic coated headers and cat-back exhaust with quad tips. The exhaust is finished off with a high flow cat form Random technologies. I also have functional Ram Air kit from Suncoast Creations. Future mods are Thrasher Engineering big valve heads, forced induction, gears and suspension upgrades. My goal is at least 400hp out of this engine. What is the best inter-cooled SC available, if any at all? I don't like the idea of the one from RK due to the slipping issue and no inter cooler. Besides welding my new headers what else can be done to stop the leaking problems I've read about? Mine don't leak, yet. I would really appreciate any recomendations from the forum on how to achjieve my goal of 400RWL hp.

Right now RK Sport's Powerdyne is the only one available and it is not intercooled. One of the moderators, Batman, is working on a kit. You might want to email him. Otherwise, you will have to look into fabricating a kit of your own which certainly won't be easy. Good luck.2004 CE Corvette 10.86@132mph
