your miles are fine, and yes the turbo will work great on any tranny.

as for hp, boost will be easily controlled by the user so that is up to you, our tests have shown that 7 lbs of boost easily put the car in the low 300 rwhp range, hell at 5 psi it kept up with a C5 vette. TQ from a turbo is massive look at my dyno numbers.

I'm very very interested in this kit. My car is a 98 Firebird, with 80k miles on it though. =\ I've contemplated with an LS1 swap, but haven't totally committed to it yet. Will my car be safe without a rebuilt with the turbo kit? Also, if I do happen to go with the turbo when is the 3500 due? What all is included with the 3500 charge? Installation? What about warranty wise? I'm no turbo expert. What if this breaks down? Am I out 3500 bucks? Sorry for all the questions. I'm just concerned about throwing that much money around.
        Thanks,
        Rick

Th3Rick, Each of Tiago's kits are custom made. Some ppl won't require as much as others, since they may already have those mods on their cars, such as certain ignition mods, fuel mods, ect. I have been told that if I already have these secondary mods on my car, that I will not have to pay for these with the kit, and the price of the kit will go down. So, if you already have a big fuel pump and the MSD-DIS-4 ignition, and you want the kit, you won't be charged for those parts with the kit, and that $3500 price tag will go down.

Auto cars will respond well, since the TC''s allow the turbo to spool into it's range better. If an aftermarket TC had it's stall matched to the exact rpm that the turbo made full boost, you'd leave the line with all of ur boost on hand. A manual will work great as well, holding the car in a gear where they already make full boost. Both tranny's will be great.

Boost for the kit will be limited by a boost controller, but can be increased as other mods are added that allow for more boost to be used SAFELY, such as forged internals, colder plugs, lower compression, more efficient intercooler, ect.

I have no idea what warranty will be given on this kit. I'd assume the Turbo would be warrantied by the turbo manufacturer, and the rest of the kit warrantied by the seller. I'd ask Tiago and Speed about this for sure. I wouldn't expect the company to warranty a product that is used irresponsibly. You must respect your motor and not push it extremely hard. the 7 psi that they recommend w/ the kit is mroe than safe for our V6's.

breaking the rear end depends on how much slippage you get at the tires and how many ft. lbs. it takes to break the tires loose. LS1's have lasted up to 425 ft. lbs dead hooking, meaning no tire spin at all. I think with this kit, your rear end will last you well past 100k miles.

I'd like to say that i do not represent Tiago, Speed, Radcat, Force Fed Fabrications, or any other companies associated with this kit. All this information has come from personal convo's between myself and Tiago, as well as the information posted on this board. I woudl say personally talk to Tiago or Speed about this kit, and get the specifics from them as well.

all said is on the money artic wolf.

however there is not a set boost level that we are recommending, other then the stock wastegate setting being in the 7-8 lb range, you can leave it there or go up with the boost controller, it will be totally up to you.

Parts warranty: the parts in the kit we can cover, your motor is your responsability.

Would this include some sort of computer tuning? And no one has answered when the $3500 is due.

There is no computer tuning, all our results were achieved with the stock computer programming.

The balance of the kit will be due upon ordering, the kits will be made on an order to order basis only, therefore the balance is due up front, then your kit is built to your spec and shipped out.

I have headers, what can we do with the turbo and the headers to make it so I don't have to get rid of them? The exhaust shops suck here in Tucson btw...

When would we need money to order? I will try to get 3500 put together by then, need some sort of timeframe.
