I can get a 79' buick 2.8L complete with turbo, it was running when pulled a few years ago for 100.00. How hard would it be to mount the turbo on my 98 3.8L? Do you have to change computers or just reprogram?

it isnt the same engie at all.
You would also need to re-program your PCM (spark curve), which at this time is not possible, but you could use an MSD DIS-4 or a MAFT+
