Tiago do you know how much our bird can take?
I mean heck if I can run 12 lbs at the track then I will, but I dont want to mess anything up.
      I got stuff...<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/mksucum\" target=\"_blank\">http://community.webshots.com/user/mksucum</a>

I think our stock engines can take 15psi if given enough fuel.
I was running 14psi for awhile but since I still have the stock injectors I wasn't getting enough fuel when I wasn't using race gas so I turned it back to 9psi. That works just fine on pump gas.

I've picked up some 29lb injectors for mine. I guess the only way to really tell if the engines can take 15psi is to run for say 50,000 miles then tear down the motor and inspect it.

These 3.8's should be able to make LOADS of power with 12 to 15 pounds. To the Grand National guys, a 12-15 pound system isnt really considered extreme and they make plenty. Hell, here is a video (the first one, with the white car) of a VR6 2.8L turbo VW engine making 650 horsepower to the wheels on a daily driven car. They were pushing 30+ psi on 10.5:1 compression with pump gas. Yes, that's wheelspin on the dyno. The guy leaning over the door was a mechanic here at the dealership. He also had a VR6 turbo with the same turbo setup as that one, drove it to work every day, and at the track hit it with an extra 75 shot of nitrous. ;) Oh by the way, except for forged pistons, those cars have stock internals. Food for thought. Sure, our engines are pushrod motors with iron heads, but we've got a full liter of displacement on those things. If it's done right, you can run loads of boost on anything.
