green dont worry about the times, you do have a faster car if the weather was like how it is here in boston in thw winter. Id like to see Swift_3800_F-Body run his car back home in hawaii, im sure hed run like 14 13 sec all day
 . I know firsthand what the weather is like back home and how it is over here in boston, and i know you would run alot better if the weather was different.

I appreciate the support guys. Hey Swift no hard feelings man. Just remember that everyone of us has had someone ask us why you being stupid and modding that v6 when you can get a v8. I see the looks of ls1 drivers faces as they laugh at my puny v6. I dont need to feel that way on this board. Well Ill keep you guys posted.

Just curious, what's the elevation at your track? Just wodering why that 1/4 times in Hawaii are so bad. I found the average elecavation in Hawaii is something like 3000', I don't know if that sounds right, but if thats the case, according to this table, you would be running like a 14.7 or so.

Isnt every .1 you take off your 60' you see .2 a gain though the traps?? Yeah man.. Get some control arms, Lsd, and a Adj Phr and you will be hooking off the line.. Dont worry about what that dude is saying.. He is just mad that he doesnt have a supercharger on his firebird.. The race is won in the 60'.. It doesnt matter how much power you are putting to the ground what matters is if you have the traction or suspension for it!! You are probably putting down 230-240hp at the wheels.. I put down 182hp and the only other mod I have then you that would effect that number is my headers.. with the 50 shot it netted me 70hp!! I couldnt believe it.. having a high flow intake and a high flow exaust really does work well with power adders.. Last year I put down 171hp with a cat back and the same intake I have now.. The high flow cat and headers gained me 10N/A hp but I bet they gained me 15-25 N20 HP... After you get your tracion problem solved get some headers and some gears.. You might see 10-20hp gain from the headers with the blower.. anyways good numbers and good luck!!

Oh yea heades are defiently gonna come into the picture. But for now I just want to see the maximum power I can get JUST from the powerdyne. I dont consider getting a lsd and some smaller rims cheating due to the fact that before the powerdyne my one legger was enough to handle the power. Back then I could nail 2.2 60 foots. Now after the powerdyne and 30 trips down the track with it I havent done any better than a 2.350. I should be seeing 2.0 60 ft's with it. That how I know that traction is keeping me from a solid half second.

the problem is, when u do LSD, u'll get wheel hop from the gained traction, meaning ur 60 ft. times won't go down much. if u do lca's when u do lsd, u'll see a huge 60 ft. gain. phr is for cornering, and when u get it, u'll want an adjustable one in case u wanna lower ur car.

It's pretty easy to pick up a used powerdyne for 2 grand or so. I just posted on the I want this board and within 24 hours I had to different offers. I simply wrote that if you have a used powerdyne in good running condition that will work on a 98 that I WILL PAT YOU 2 GRAND FOR IT. They new there was no haggleing needed with me and took my offer. As a matter of fact one was sold on are for sale board the other day for only 2 grand even! Even if the new powerdyne owner did have all the problems I had and only improved a lousy 8 tenths better he would still be getting his moneys worth in my opinion. That 8 tenths thing is just my problem right now anyway. That new owner after only paying two grand would more than likely dropp the 0ne to one and a half seconds like the other powerdyne users can atteset to. Pretty solid for the money I think.

Hey Nikon I was just checking out your time slip and seeing how it compares to mine. You got a 2.1 60 ft compared to my 2.3. You did the 1/8 in 9.6 at 72mph compared to my 9.8 at 75 mph. You did the quarter in 15.1 at 89mph compared to my 15.3 at 91mph. I think this comparison attest to the fact that my traction is killing me. When I actualy hook after spinning Im Still getting some decent mph. Im getting to the end of the track at a quicker speed then you. The only differance is that your getting there smoothly with a good launch and very little wheel spin. I on the other hand am taking a spinning tire pit stop off the line and then when I hit second. I'm defiently not trying to put down your car or anything. Im actually very impressed with your cars performance. All Im basicly trying to do is use your time slip to prove to my self that traction is my problem. Perhaps Im wrong... Cn someone tell me if Im right to assume that traction is one hundred percent my problem If Im getting to the 1/8 3 mph quicker and then to the end 2mph quicker yet Im still 2 tenths slower?????

What were some of the other cars at the track running when you went? Its hard to say if traction is 100 percent of your problem but not having lsd and lcas isnt helping any.

Congrats on the times...

As of right now you still have a lot of work to do. Cars are money pits but go all the way, don't quit now. If you can plant the car with LCA,LSD,nittos and get something to help the engine breath better like headers your car will be a mid to low 14 car for sure. Goodluck
