I remember reading a post from shirl stating that her kit (which I think runs off the stock serpentine) couldn't go to a very high boost.

Part of the reason being belt slippage. Makes sense to me, a belt that wraps around a pulley is going to make a lot more contact & exert much more force than a belt that merely touches one side.

But hey, you guys are the experts :-P

The Powerdyne kit runs off the flat (or back side) of the belt. Kits for V8's run off the grooved side. One option is a double-sided belt such as is used in the Corvette, or design a kit that runs off the grooved side of the belt.

I realize something like this will take a while. But what kind of time frames are we looking at. To finish development of current product. Testing, and then production?

          Thanks,

Ummm.. YES! 2.0 is still being worked on for the 3.8 right now. Once that is being wrapped up, the 3.4 goes in under the knife. As it stands.... the unit should be on my door step now :D

Hey Ryan I don't mean to sound newbieish on this thread but for reliablity purposes, what would you reccomend is done to the engine before this ATI SC is hooked up? I want a screamin' daily driver and by that I mean something that will hold together longer then a year ya know? I'm really looking into the stage 2 supersix package, full exhaust, headers...... anything else i should do that the kit won't include??

I'm just waiting patiently for test results. I'll be jumping in line for this in a few months... i'm kinda dealing with a move to LA at the moment. Thanks man

The supersix stag 2 will bring your comp up to 9.6:1. That should be safe if you run 6psi, but if you start to up the psi, you could be lookin at some trouble. Lower compression = crank up that boost!

And put me on the beta list ;)

Well see thats the thing.. the only reason i am building the kit instead of my engine is i want to make a kit that will run safely on a stock engine. Once the kit is made guys.... hmmm.. Batman is going for an upgrade ;) next thing you know i'll bee crusin with flames coming out of the back end

Ryan I think that's the best idea I've heard on any webboard to date..... you've got your head in the right place! Nobody has any patience these days. I've seen so many people fry their engines with a nitrous setup because they wanted power and wanted it NOW.

I'm so excited about this ATI SC I feel like a kid in a candy store
