I am wondering which supercharger is better for the 2o0o bird (3.8 of course). Also I was wondering how much it would cost to buy and install.

powerdyne new for 4K can get them used for 2K good for about 7 psi 9 psi max non intercooled producing about 250 hp

ATI Procharger for 4500 new comes with an intercooler good for 7 - 12 psi (with more fuel and tuning) has dynoed 280

and to make a point before someone post if you say the word turbo in this post you are gay, he said "SUPER CHARGER" not turbo, not best power adder, not cheapest power adder give him info on what he asked about not everyone wants a turbo

How many psi does the bird come stock, (psi-pounds square inch right?)I don't know all that much about cars. I know that the things that I do make it faster but I don't know exactly how or why or the lingo to really talk about it so if you don't mind talk to me like I am dumb... ;)

here is a thread with all the info on the prochager you could ask for he was still having problems with his car when he dynoes 250hp

here is a good post of a member on here who recently installed the powerdye and his impressions he lives in Hawaii and theres altitude there and heat which both hurt his 1/4 times by over a sec so dont look at just numbers alone

Dont let those numbers fool you. Those numbers are rwhp numbers. Not the amount of hp that you will get from the supercharger. Also theres another kit. gotto www.projectvirus.com to learn more.

in a normaly asperated car you will not barly see 0 psi at WOT, you are normaly in a vacum

if you add 14.7 psi to your car its like adding another atmoshpere in to the same place so you would be looking at about doubling your hp and maybe a little more

for example naturaly asperated engin puts out 175 hp at 14 psi or so you should have around 350 hp other things can also hurt your numbers not enough fuel, ****y exhast blah blah
