OK, I imagine this has been asked before, but Ill ask anyways. I have a 3.4L engine. What exactly prevents me from buying a powerdyne supercharger for the 93-97 LT1 and installing it on my car? I know the mounting would need to be a little creative and a new mounting bracket would need to be made. I think I rmember seein someone say it would need to be mounted on the right side of the engine compartment because if not it wouldnt turn the right way. I doubt that the LT1 and my engine fire in opposite rotational directions. So tell me, would I be unwise in buying a LT1 SC? Besides the bracket and ducting (which shouldnt be that hard) is it going to be a feasible idea? Thanks!

Why would you want to do that when they have an ATI kit for your car out there already. The ATI charger is better than the powerdyne charger too.
the kit is something like $3500-$3800 new.. you have to call ATI to find out.

let me give you a couple links to show you the folley of your ways.

okay i feel like a dumb@$$.... i read your post too fast and thought you were taking the 3.4 powerdyne kit and making it adapt to your LT1.

Must have been a psychological play on my mind especially since your screan name is camaro28.

Actually i think there is a powerdyne kit out there for the 3.4L. BUT if you be a lil patient TealV6 is going to start desiging the kit for the 3.4 using the ATI p600B.

Check this site out under the firebird section to check the kit out.

u can always adapt, but the custom fabrication will cost.
