Actually I can't build up more then 1-2 PSI right now until I get my wastegate here and welded on, which is in the mail. The spring in the wastegate is set at 4.35 PSI, but with my boost controller I will put it at 5-6. It'll definately be a whole new beast, I just can't wait til I can get the intercooler and crank boost :D
but besides low boost the car is running and idling great, no misfires or knock or anything.

That's nice man, damn good job on that setup. And just think of the power that thing will make man with ported heads, manifold, upgraded fuel and computer mods, ignition, etc. What kind of turbo is that anyway a T3/T4 hybrid?

It's kind of an oddball turbo but I call it a T3/T4. It came off a 6.5L turbo diesel chevy truck and it is a T3 .63 AR on the hotside with a T04 housing on the cold side. I will upgrade it later with a straight T4 after the intercooler is hooked up.

Man, you really stuffed that thing in there! Good job! The one thing that I'll never understand, though, is why so many people can do it with LT1's/LS1's, and yet there is so little room in a measly 6 cylinder. Go figure.

its more a matter of simplicity and cost. the LT1-Ls1 kits have alot into them therefore the $7k+ price tags. Keeping hte costs down makes the design options on our cars be cut down considerably.
I didn't document it but it's all in my head, if you have any of the install questions let me know, I won't help you with what parts you'll need/where to get them/etc... those questions are just annoying.

Nice pics! If I'm being obtuse please forgive me but did you know you can ligthen up those darker pics in paint? Thanks for posting. On another note how can you hold boost at all without a WG? Hope you dyno and post as well.
the turbos of a big diesel....does it spool quick enough?...and at what RPM's does it spool, just curious....oh ya and where did you get all those parts and stuff from ;)
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
