i don't know if it works or not;
you'd need an inverter for an electric leaf blower...or carry a small can of gas for the gas powered kind

It does work but only in lowend for a bit once u get up the rpms the blower cant keep up with the engine plus it drains the bat big time while running, sound kool though, if somopen can find a inverter than can hand a 10hp electric motor leaf blower it should work real good but the smaller ones just dont cut it, btw i've done it on a bunch of cars and trucks
those old, shoulder mounted jobs with the gas engine were up there in hp...
you could even change out the fan for a different boost
it would be very odd to have 2 motors under the hood, though...cool, but odd
(kinda like the old days *sigh*)

i done it on a mercury tracer uhm i usually do it with electric blower but this tard had to have a gas engine, now on I-4's it seems to work well but 6 and 8s suk too much air already for blower to keep up like posted above, well anyways we ran the crank rope into the driver compartment, now when he is at lights with hondas and such and they rev, he yanks his cord and starts his blower, they usually turn or quit revin real quick, its funny

he has even wired the choke to a spring so he can switch it on and off, this idea has been out for awhile im not the only one who has done it i am sure there r other but they just dont wanna own up to puttin a lawn tool under their hood if u could see their faces though its just funny
Actually it could work i think. The electric one's put out around 5psi i think. Now wire it with a wire to turn on say with the igntion or something it would add some i would though split a filter inline to allow the engine to suck air for the higher speeds. Could give ya a good boost at lower ends
My new ride 2000 camaro, No mods yet still waiting for warranty to run out then all out heads, cam, and supercharger
Nah they dont make that much psi cuz i found a CFM to PSI conversion online and the blower that i bought for 90$ only put out 3psi and it was eatin the battery like a bastard, howver we did put a HUGE electric blower on a 5.2 v8 dakota and I used a generator with it, b4 it tripped the breaker on the generator the truck was running REAL strong i'm talkin about b4 he didnt spin much with the blower he could not even get traction i guess thats since the blower like a supercharger doesnt have to spin up to make boost, its just always there
