General information on the shortcomings and usefullness of the sts turbo system

LOL!! I meant power was blipping explosive...GNt66 knows exactly what I am talking about...I know I need to work on my one-liners... ;)

The rear mounted turbo I was talking about was very well thought out...seriously...no marketing scheme...talk about heat sinks on the intake pipe and reducers going to the turbo...NO CAT! Like I have said...ppl are nittpicking...it will be more like someone mass producing something compared to someone sitting down and doing his/her homework (not to say STS didn't do their homework)...but this thing can be engineered to work big time...all it will take is someone having the 't3sticular fortitude' to re-engineer the main idealogy. The hairdrier in this particular setups will be a breeze to swap out and then different trims of wheels or A/R's can be used...brainstorm!!

i love that. posts of the year huh. this is exactly why i choose not to post on this board much. you all have a reall dumb idea of what knowledge is.

i'll chime in one more time here. and you can flame me if you want. i really dont care. (i mean i really dont - it doesnt bother me if all you can do is ***** at me over a computer screen)

heres an added gripe about the "rear mounted turbo". being where i live - in torrance - ive had stuff stolen from inside my car. a rear mounted turbo wouldnt last a night. you would come out in the morning to find most of your exhaust piping cut off and NO TURBO. too easy to steal. and thats the last little "nitpicky" point i can think of - since we are all nitpicking.

but whatever. all of you that are sitting here flaming - you're right. you are totally and 100% correct. im wrong..always have been always will be. i mean whatever. as long as you are happy with yourselves right? thats all that counts? i mean who cares about facts... not i.

so have a good life and all that. whatever. i dont care if you run off a cliff. wouldnt bother me in the slightest. (directed to the idiots of the board - you know who you are.)

STS's kit has no intercooler which means it's a hot air piece of crap system, the pipe routing system sucks. The heat sink idea is bogus,

Tiago's kit has an intercooler, and the bends will not kill the boost.
