That turbo is only a t04b it aint that big. i know that p.u. have it and its stock. u cant tell me that its even close to as big as a t66 and they're on the street in a 4 banger by what ive read. so if u dont mind i would like a more educated opinion. i may be a rookie in here but i have done my homework. so plz nocutt if ur gonna say somethin back it up by fact. and i'm not meanin to attack either.

You are a rookie...period!! You cannot even begin to compare a 4 cyl with F.I with a 6 cyl...too many differences, too many variables it is ridiculous. Your homework? you posted the A/r,specs and measurements and I told you it was WAY too big, now someone else posted the same thing...do you understand your follies? Jeez...Oh BTW this isn't an attack...I am also a member of the turbocharged 3800 club, in retrospect I did some of the homework for you

ok. ok. sry bout that didn't mean to cause problems. i know that 4 cyl. are way different but the turbo isnt a replica of mine i said its like mine but the exhaust isnt that much bigger than the comp. i am sure of that. btw could some1 give me a little more info on how to hook up a bov. i got one on the 4th but the directions suck. thx for any replys and sry nocutt i dont know what i was thinkin

well im sure its streetable but will have some lag. i dont really care about that much lag. i would like to save my tires and i would like a delayed killer whiplash. they wouldnt know how fast i am until full boost kicks in and woooooow what a rush. i could get used to that.

It depends on how you plan on hooking the turbos "cold side"...if you are going to blow-thru the MAF then place the BOV couple of inches (6"-8") away from the TB and get a vacuum source from the intake manifold...(I like to use a dedicated line, independent of anything else...just me :D )on the other hand if you are going to be sucking thru then I guess this also depends on what kind of BOV you have, but usually most BOV will have a single exit aperture (for pressurized air to exit when TB blade closes)...you put/plumb a pipe/flex pipe/ flex hose whatever it will take to get the pressurized air to exit in front of the turbo's inlet and also after the MAF... I hope I made sense

you can put the bov anywhere on the pressurized pipe on a 3.8 becasue you cnat have it after the maf. the maf is part of the tb so you are very limited. if you get an aftermarket diverter style it wont cause any problems with stalling and rough idle. but you might get away with an atmoshperic bov.

I have a 3.4, an atmospheric bov, not sure on maf, stock location and everthing, not sure if that helps

so whats the deal get a twin turbo, upercharger or a ls1
This baby\'s the envy of F-body owners across(jK), but the Pearly sunset paint with white leather and the 18\" crager rims tell the story. not much for motor mods other than a flowmaster muffler, Ram air intake and hood but im always down to here about super/turbo chargers!
