Well I've been planing the thing and slowly collecting parts for about a year. But when I actually started working on it, I spent all of my Christmas break on the exhaust parts(4 weeks), all of spring break where I actually got it in and running, and then some other weekends doing other small things. The only major thing I haven't fabricated so far it the turbocharger...custom exhaust, intake, any other odds and ends. Everything under my hood that is actually dedicated to the turbo(i.e. exhaust stuff, intake track, turbo, lines, fuel upgrades, DIS-4, gauges, modified intake) cost me about $1350. But I'm only at the begining, I'm sure I'll be spending much more as I go along. I'm also not including all the little things that I bought to try w/ fabrication that didn't end up working out or I didn't end up using.

That sentance in the middle sounds a little wierd. I meant that I fabricated just about everything except for the turbo itself.

Or you could buy my 3.4 turbo setup, and subtract the 4 months. :D
