  • The turbo is Back!

After a Complete overhall of the T3/T4 BB turbo my bill was $450 the Shaft was scared so it had to be turned. All looks good and spins nice :D . I also got my Tial wastegate cleaned up....I took it apart and found it has a 10 Psi Spring. How dangerous would it be to Run 10 PSI? I have an IC.....I might have to buy a smaller spring like 7 Psi...I want to keep my motor together!

    Anyway,
I should start building the kit soon!

there are plenty of people running 10psi, but you need to always run premium gas, but with the IC i would think you would be fine (you might lose a pound throught the IC anyway)

      Yea,
I know the Motor can handle it with a good tune "Hp Tuned". I am just running what it says in my sig. I need to get HP Tuners...I got the money I just want to get the Kit done first. I cant wait...my buddie has a Lift so all I need now is Time....but I have a Baby so my time is the hardest to get.

          Cool,
Ill just run it in on the Dyno before I go playin' around. How much power did you make on 10 psi?

That was at 15psi but it cut out at 4400 rpms because the injectors were locking up.

I'll be getting it dynoed again in the near future. I have bigger injectors now and also took the gov off so I can dyno it to redline. Goal is to get around those numbers at 12psi tunned.

</font>[/QUOTE]I was on STL Street Racing, I think its STLSR.com or some crap. I used that board when I worked at "Next Level" it was an Import shop I did a lot of Turbo Hondas and Custom Exhaust work.

What are some good STL websites?

yeah STLSR is pretty damn lame IMO, some people like www.fastlouis.com (the f-body association of saint louis) im not a big fan of that place anymore, i dont like a lot of the people on it, www.mofbody.com isnt pretty cool, lots of laid back people, but most of the people are from out near KC
