Custom Turbo

Found a guy to make me a custom turbo setup. He works on grand nationals and recently turbo'd a 3.3 GM v6. What kind of price should I expect for a job like this?

let him give you a number first.. and it's going to depend on what he is doing.. is he just doing the turbo and all the other little goodies that go with a turbo or is he doing the whole thing.. including computer tuning?..

umm ruff guess 3000 min more like 4K-5K the guy is gonna wanna make some money i am sure it could be done i belive for less then 3000 if you planed it out and what not if you realy wanted to skimp then maybe 2000 (using used parts)but it wouldnt be that good

Yep, went to Race Related www.racerelated.com and talked with a few of the guys there. They told me for a supercharger they wouldn't make one. THey said there was not one made. They would however turbo my car for 4,500 with intercooler, but not upgrading the fuel system in that price. Kinda high. Also if you think about it. You have 4500 to spend then sell your car and get a LS1 or Lt1. [img]smile.gif[/img]
