that would make a turbo setup easier. have the manifolds facing forward.

I am using a set of hooker super comp headers that are also turned around on my 3.4L. Although my car is not an f-body it's a miata. ALso, I wanted to go with a single turbo application and decided to take advantage of these thermal coated mid-length headers.
just my $.2

No you can't put them on back wards becaus one port doesn't line up at all when you do.
If your cars exhaust ports are nice and evenly spaced you can.

Actually,
I thought the same thing, but when you take your heads off and and turn them around (facing forward so that the passenger side ends up on the drivers side and so on...) they actually line up. I know they will because they're turned around on my 3.4L right now. I'll get some pictures up if you feel that it is necessary.
Also, oil pan 4,
I checked out your webpage and was curious... the flywheel was changed in 88' for the L32 blocks. The 88' and newer are internally balanced mills. The 88' and older are externally balanced and required the flywheel to be offset to balance the rotating assembly.
I really like your conversion BTW. It's cool and i cannot wait to see what happens (also like the IROC's). You seem to have a rich knowledge of your Japanese spec cars!
