• Is this a good idea for an Intercooler?

I saw this at LS1tech and I'm wondering if that is a viable solution or is the air flow to the cooler bad, because I see that that's a Firebird in the picture which doesn't have the option of a grill mounted intercooler.

    http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...ht=intercooler

    (its near the bottom)

Also where are the pics of the ATI intercooler mounting site? I looked for them and it came bad negative.

In general I'm wondering what kind of intercooling options the firebird owners have because it seems we could only do the underneath mounting, but then I saw that red trans am with a nose mounted cooler.

    Any thoughts?

cut the front open or remove foglight holes or just route some ducts up to it... or mount the IC below like my 3.8 kit or use nitrous to cool the IC ...

there are alot of options ;)

Where exactly under the nose do you mount it, forward of the slash guard or behind it? Is it angled? I've been wanting to see pics of your whole kit, are there any yet?

Pro Stock John cut out the license plate hole in the front of his bumper. Do a search for him over there, you'll find out that it works quite well as can be told by his dyno numbers.

You can always go Air/Water as well.
