I am pulling some money together for an MSD, and it will be dyno'ed at the same time. I am not guarantying a date, but it should be within a few weeks.

98GREENGLOW....my car is not my entire life, its easy to shell out the money and time over the summer, because I am not in school. You dont know my life. Getting an education is WAY MORE IMPORTANT to me, not getting freakin dyno numbers to people I will never see. I apologize for that not being on the top of my TO DO list.

During school months I am either at engineering school(17 credit hrs), working 35 hours a week at home depot, or doing the roughly (17 credit hours X 3 hours a week) 51 hours of homework I have a week.

I have the ATI kit on my car but didn't have it dynoed yet. I had a few PCM problems so Mach is flashing it to correct them. I can't wait to get it done, my car was pulling hard before I sent the PCM out. It was throwing two codes and sending me into "RES" mode. It will be fixed when returned and will Dyno when I get a chance.

Red audiomobile... I love you man. Make no mistake about that. Ive got 4 kids and Im an infantry solder who up to 3 weeks ago was suppossed to be spending the next year OR MORE in Iraq.

So I feel your pain. BUT.... These people you will never see all have one thing in common. WE ARE DYING TO SEE WHAT YOU WILL DYNO. Weve been hereing this Ill dyno in the next few weeks from many people for quite a while (not saying your one of them). It only takes an hour.

I dyno just to find out whats wrong. Thats kool too. Then you can actually tell when your getting things right by the way your power goes up. You no that better than me though. Your actaly going to school for this stuff.

BTW...... I would seriously rather have a supercharged 6 then a viper. It takes no brains what so ever to make the viper fast. No respect involved there. Just money. It comes fast.

Hopefully youll be able to find 75$ and an hour of time in the next month from that crazy schedule you have. GOODLUCK at hiiting 300 rwhp if you get a chance to do it. I just got this weird feeling that your car will.

Our goal this winter has been to have both cars race-ready by AIS (April 24). We will also have dyno numbers before then.

So far this has included:

For the Virus:
3.42/Zexel-Torsen posi swap, Centerforce D/F swap, intercooler repair (pending), 15 psi pulley swap (complete), install of supercharger with 15 psi pulley and newly-repaired intercooler (pending). Car is currently NA.

For Pathogen:
Zexel-Torsen posi swap, header install, line lock install, TB hole plug to prevent dipstick from shooting out. Car is currently supercharged.

So yes, we have been busy. A lot of work has been done on these two cars in the past two months and more remains before I rip James a new one at AIS.

But what we are doing is different from the Mach kit. Ours is not a kit--everything on ours is custom. No one else could expect to see the same results as us because what we're doing is so off the wall. But people from the Mach camp should dyno before and after JUST THE ATI KIT... not after the kit, an MSD, and various other parts. Those confound the results.

RedAudioMobile--if your car is running right now with the supercharger on, take it to the dyno NOW before you mess with the MSD! Who cares what your car runs "with the Mach kit and an MSD", people are concerned what you run "with the Mach kit". Eh?

I know how it is to get alot of work going. Ive been playing with different setups in my car, Ive redesigned the turbo kit 3 times in the last couple months and swapped clutch setups I think I will leave it as it is for now, its running good. I have some new plans for during the summer into the winter though , it will scare some people :eek:

I think i am going to AIS now. You just convinced me. Ill do coverage for the other website i work for (www.autorush.com), and check out the matches. Im not gonna pay $35 to run, but ill check it out for sure.

Does anyone know if they are doing media passes like most events? I do have references for actually being a member of the media, not just someone with a camera looking for pictures.

No performance modification is done until the dyno printout and timesheet are in hand. I thought his goal was to complete the project? i.e. get at least one good track run and one dyno sheet as proof that it was all worthwhile?
