I just bought a 2' length of stainless steel braided hose from my local speed shop wanting to use it for my turbo install...so can regular compression fittings like the brass ones you can get at Lowes or Home Depot work? Do I just peel back the braids? I'd rather not pay $12 a pop for russel fittings, but aren't they just regular compression fittings but made from aluminum and anodized anyway?
