i cant remeber who it is.. but i think we only have 1-2 memebers with forwards swept header manifolds.. and well...

as i recall the got the primary flanges from CIA and then got to bending and welding.. its no small task thats for sure..

The mechanic who did Anthony's, whose passenger forward-swept header I now have, did it on a Series II flange, modifying a stock GN (Series I) header for custom use.

shanes post is a little misleading, he used a set of header flanges only from his rk sport headers, not the full header.

I know, but it is coated and he cut off the primaries, I wonder hwo well it welded if he didn't strip the coating off. Doing that sounds like a huge PITA.

i think his friend with the tt mustang did it for him. i know he got them ceramic coated so i would guess he stripped off the original coating.

ah, sorry Tiago, i didn't see who posted that question.

As far as the answer, im not sure, i saw the qiestion, and did't see who posted it.

here are pics of the headers.

can't tell too much, but im guessing they stripped it off, makes welding much easier

is there a place to just buy flanges instead of the headers themselves
