i have done everything in my own cars like turbo, nitrous, superchargers or roots and centrifugal. i think they all have there strenghts and weakness'. but when it comes down too it, i have had alot better luck with my v6 then anything else as far as longevity. it is jsut a matter of preference and i feel that i have been happiest with my setup now. i have lag in first gear if i dont leave with the 2step. other then that it is always on and roasting the tires(damn i need slicks, lol)

lets jsut wait and see who makes it too ais this year and who has top et. that will still not put an end too this crap, but it couldnt hurt.
    boost, you got it???

maybe a tuner kit, with larger injectors, and pump, and 8 rib conversion and steel mounting plate but not the stock kit just bolted on ;)

(the 8 rib kits just started shipping a couple of weeks ago, no results that i have seen posted yet on stock cars)

if im wrong, im wasting my time with this vortech i have, as i only expect 450 or so on 9#'s.

                  V9 G trim, the LS1 9# kit for f-cars.

They don't make a S trim kit for the f-body, just the vette, you could do acustom S trim kit, but most step up to a T trim at that point.

Uh, I thought the argument was about v6's? Arent there enough aftermarket from EVERYTHING for the LS1's and LT1's? Lets keep flaming every power adder ever, while I can sit back and save money for one. :(

An equally "simple" turbo kit bolt on has brough stock internals LS1s to 750hp. Our kit will give similar performance at a fraction of that price. What next?

You will find that I don't bullsht people and I am pretty carefull about what I say. Credibility is very important in this field. That being said, you are right; it was actually 775rwhp / 865rwtq.

Here is the dyno sheet and details...

                                https://www.quartermileperformance.com/775Dyno.jpg

I know it seems crazy, but this is STILL the same factory stock engine! It just doesn't seem to want to give out on us! If you notice the dyno Run number, it now says run #006. However, this particular dyno run was in fact run number 133! Apparently the DynoJet comes factory set to only allow 130 runs per File Name. This is the first car that we have ever made this many pulls on! Who woulda knew???
So we were forced to start a new file. By the end of the night, we had accumulated a total of 141 pulls since installing the turbo system back in November. Over 40 of those pulls were at 700+rwhp, with 20+ being at 750+rwhp! Not to mention all of the "street" runs.

Anyway, the added HP came mostly from the addition of a new SPEC Stage 5 clutch. Which is surprisingly VERY streetable. SPEC says that all of their new design Stage 5's have great street manners. Another thing we liked about it, was the fact that we didn't have to do the typical 400 mile "Break-In" of "Normal Driving" that has to be done with the Stage 1-4 clutches. We installed it, drove it down the street for about 10 minutes, and pulled it on the dyno. We also had ET Streets on the car this time, and staged the car as far back on the rollers as we could to prevent tirespin. It apparently worked, though the wrinkle-wall tires typically rob a car of 10-15rwhp.

The erratic area in the A/F graph between 2700-3700, is caused by the engagement of the alcohol injection system. As best as we can tell, the addition of the alcohol/methanol to the exhaust gasses seems to affect the Wideband O2 readings for a moment. Even though it appears to be drastic, the engine exhibits no signs of sluggishness in that area whatsoever. Our next test will be to install a new SMC Progressive Alcohol Injection system net. Enabling it to come on "smoother". Though I doubt we will see much of a gain, if any.
...Please do not call BS on me without doing your research. I give you enough benefit of the doubt to respond and comment on your posts without being insulting, taking the time to research your claims is I need to.
