Trust me I know. Any turbo I slap on my car will instantly make it illegal to drive on the street. or in the state of CA for that matter. make sure you do research beforehand.

If FFF can put out a kit where they have done no fabricating (Although they did in the end) for $3000, what makes you think it should be more than that? Even upgrading a lot of things still wouldn't have put me over $4k. If you were qouted 5 or 6k for a custom job then someone was trying to take you for a ride.
