    Right, in CA. But there are tons of people passing scan-only checks (i.e. 96+ cars).

    Of course, emissions concerns are not the top priority of most F/I guys here. Making boost is.

      If FFF can put out a kit where they have done no fabricating (Although they did in the end) for $3000, what makes you think it should be more than that? Even upgrading a lot of things still wouldn't have put me over $4k. If you were qouted 5 or 6k for a custom job then someone was trying to take you for a ride.

        Ive heard a little birdy talk about a forward sweep header kit going over the k memeber for less then 3K
