i want a cam to complement tiago's turbo kit and nitrous. low boost (12psi +/-) and a 50-75 shot. im building the motor and YES, this is a daily driver. i plan on SAFELY testing the limits of force fed labs' turbo kit for the 3.8l and was wanting to know what type of cam to get. nothing too wild, just mild enough to be able get the full benifit from the turbo, yet it still be very driveable around town and on long trips (goin to corpus cristi in july from kansas). if i blow a motor (which would be my second :D ) then so be it. i just would like someone with very extensive cam expertise to give me some specs. just specs to what they feel i would need to get the most out of the motor and reasons why. i feel ive given a descriptive enough driving type, so have at it. gimme your .02

Tiago can make you a cam,
or you can go to Intense racing and look at there turbo cams there, if you find one you like write down the specs and call compcams for a custom grind,www.turbov6camaro.com

i get better deals then any of them do. talk too me and i will elt you no what the cost is and such. if you want too get the most out of your motor then i recommend going with a stand alone fue management setup along with the cam. i would liek too see something along the lines of this for your motor

how big is the turbo that ur gonna use? will the exhaust we super low restriction(cut-out after the turbo)? heads ported? All these questions need to be addressed before picking ur cam. The cam that Matt came up w/ looks good if the heads flow well at that lift. more exhaust lift when on juice, more duration on intake for turbo, LSA set up for midrange rpm power.2001 Arctic White Firebird<br />More mods than I\'m allowed to list!

heads are gonna get a 3 angle valve job and thats it. i want results most will be able to come out with, without commiting to an all out race motor. no cut-out, but a gutted cat with custom 3" exhaust back. mattv6, if you wouldnt mind, what kind of price would i be looking at? you can email me if youd like. basically, im setting the motor to be strong, yet not extensively costly. strong enough to hold the pressure. tiago will have to let you know how big a turbo it is. im sure it says on here somewhere... and if tiago could make a sugestion, that would be cool too. its his kit after all, and so i would think him or radcat could give me the most educated guess. how long have they been working on this now? well, thanks everyone.2001 camaro v6 red convertable<br /> ggotta go fast...
